Ingredients to make Healthy Tikki

  • Boiled, peeled and mashed Yam 300 grams
  • Finely chopped carrots 2 tablespoons
  • Finely chopped capsicum 2 tablespoons
  • Grated cottage cheese 4 tablespoons
  • Boiled Couscous 4 tablespoons
  • Chpped fresh coriander 2 tablespoons
  • chilli flakes 2 tablespoons
  • Oregano 1 tablespoon
  • salt as per taste

How to make Healthy Tikki

  1. Mix all the listed ingredients in a bowl together. Make 10-12 balls from this mixture.
  2. Give them the shape of tikkis or any other desired shape.
  3. Shallow fry these tikkis in a pan with a little oil for 2 minutes while turning the sides.

My Tip:

Garnish it with carrot cream cheese and a dot of ketchup. Serve it with a tangy salsa sauce.
