ABOUT Khoya/ Mawa Laddoo RECIPE

This is a very easy and quick recipe especially for people with sweet tooth. This dish is mainly made during festival times, however you can prepare these ladoos for any afternoon kitty parties as well.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Khoya/ Mawa: 2 cups
  2. Powdered Sugar: 1 and 1/2 cups (if you want it more sweet, you can add more sugar)
  3. Ghee: 2 tbsp
  4. Dessicated Coconut: 2/3 cup

Instructions

  1. In a thick bottomed non-stick pan, add in the mawa and start stirring till the khoya starts melting.
  2. Continue stirring until the khoya becomes light yellow in color. Then turn off the flame and let it cool down.
  3. Now add in the desiccated coconut and powdered sugar and mix it well.
  4. Grease your hands with ghee and take a small amount of the mixture, start preparing the ladoos.
  5. Serve these ladoos once done.
