ABOUT Guava Mint Chutney RECIPE

Guava is known as Amrood in Hindi. This one fruit is a powerhouse of nutrients. Guava chutney is sweet, spicy and has a pleasant smooth and velvety green texture.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Guava:- 2 nos, chopped into small pieces
  2. Ginger:- 1 inch piece
  3. Green chillies:- 2-3 nos
  4. Pudina (Mint leaves):- a handful
  5. Coriander leaves:- 3-4 sticks of leaves
  6. Urad dal 1 tbsp
  7. Ground nut 1 tbsp (optional)
  8. Lemon:- 1/2
  9. Sugar:- 1 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil to roast the urad dal
  12. Cumin seeds:- 1 tsp
  13. Water to make the paste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and fry the urad daal and cumin seeds until they turn brown in color.
  2. Take a mixer jar, add all the mentioned ingredients along with fried urad dal and cumin seeds. Grind it well to form a smooth paste.
  3. Serve this with hot mooli ka paratha or any paratha of your choice.
