Cheese Garlic Naan

Ingredients to make Cheese Garlic Naan

  • 2- cups maida/ flour
  • 2- tbsp oil
  • 1/4- cup yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp- salt
  • 1/4- tsp baking soda
  • 1- tsp sugar
  • Few coriander leaves, chopped
  • water as required
  • 2- tbsp butter
  • Cheese as required
  • 1- tbsp garlic

How to make Cheese Garlic Naan

  1. In a bowl, add in the maida ,yogurt, oil, baking soda, salt and some refined sugar. Mix everything properly together.
  2. Pour in water and start kneading to form a dough. Put a little oil in a work surface and knead the dough for 10-15 mins. Place this dough in a bowl and cover it with a damp cloth, let it rest for an a hour.
  3. Apply little oil to the dough and cut it into medium sized balls. Press the balls flatly using your hands, apply butter and sprinkle maida/flour over the flattened balls. Then fold up the dough once again and make balls from them.
  4. In a bowl, add in the grated cheese, chopped coriander, finely chopped garlic. Mix the stuffing properly.
  5. Divide the dough balls and fill in the stuffing. Seal it properly.
  6. Dry roast the naan for 30 seconds on both sides. Just before taking it out of the pan, add some butter or oil if you want.
  7. The cheese naan is ready!
