Ingredients to make Japanese Pancake Dorayaki or Dora Cakes

  • eggs 2
  • Cake flour 110 gms
  • Milk powder 20 gms, optional
  • sugar 30 gms
  • Milk 50 ml
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • honey 1 tsp

How to make Japanese Pancake Dorayaki or Dora Cakes

  1. Take a bowl, add in the eggs, sugar and honey. Mix it well together.
  2. Now sift together the flour, baking powder, then add in the milk powder and milk. Mix it well and note that no lumps should be there. Keep it aside for 15 mins.
  3. Now heat a non-stick pan.
  4. Mix the batter well with a spoon. Now put in 1 tbsp batter with a serving spoon on the pan.
  5. When bubbles appear, turn it to the other side and cook. It will take 3-4 mins.
