Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mushroom: 400 gm or 2 packets, each chopped into 4 pieces
  2. Capsicum: 1 chopped
  3. Onion: 1 chopped
  4. Ginger-Garlic paste: 1 tbsp
  5. Coriander leaves a handful
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Red chilli powder to taste
  8. Soya sauce: 1 tsp
  9. Tomato ketchup: 3 tbsp
  10. White vinegar: 1 tsp
  11. Cornflour: 2 tbsp
  12. Water: 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a kadai. Add in the ginger-garlic paste and saute for a few mins. Then add the onions and fry till it turns golden in colour.
  2. Now add in the capsicum and fry for a few minutes. Add in the mushroom, salt, red chilli powder and fry on a high flame. (Water will come out from the mushroom. Continue frying till the mushrooms are cooked.)
  3. Now add water to it and bring it to boil. Lower the flame, then add in the soya sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup and mix it well.
  4. Mix the cornflour with water to form a smooth paste. Add the cornflour paste to the mushrooms and mix it well. Bring it to a boil and cook till the sauce thickens.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves and sprinkle chopped onions on top.
  6. Serve it hot.
