Kashmiri Pulao

Ingredients to make Kashmiri Pulao

  • rice- 250 gm
  • oil 60 ml
  • sugar- 1 tablespoon
  • apple 1 no
  • Cashewnut- 20 gm
  • almonds- 20 gm
  • raisins- 20 gm
  • saffron- 1 gm
  • Whole garam masala - 5 gm
  • elaichi powder- a pinch
  • kewra essence- a few drops
  • Cherries 3-4 nos

How to make Kashmiri Pulao

  1. In a utensil, boil water along with a little oil and rice.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add in the whole spices, then add in the chopped dry fruits and apple. Saute it for a few minutes.
  3. Now add in the boiled rice and sugar, then add in the elaichi powder and chopped cherries.
  4. Now add in the kewra essence and cook it well .
  5. Serve on a plate garnished with almond flakes.
