Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Suji 2 and 1/2 cup
  2. Curd 3/4 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Oil 2 tsp
  5. Rai/ Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  6. Blanched spinach puree 2 tsp
  7. Water as required
  8. Baking soda 1/2 tsp


  1. Take a microwaveable bowl. Add 1 tsp of oil, put in the rai and microwave on a high heat for 2 minutes.
  2. Next add in the suji and roast it for 3-4 minutes on a high heat in the microwave.
  3. Now add in the curd and mix. Add in required water to make a batter like that of cake consistency. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Then add in the salt and soda. Mix it well together.
  4. Take the spinach puree and add in the batter. Don't mix it thoroughly. Just move your hands lightly to give a marble effect.
  5. Take a microwaveable idli stand. Grease the mould and pour the batter in it. Microwave it for 4 minutes.
  6. Let it cool down. Then unmould.
  7. Serve it with mint coriander chutney.
