ABOUT Masala Dosa RECIPE

A famous South Indian dish which goes great with sambhar and coconut chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Rice- 3 glass
  2. Urad dal- 1 glass
  3. Baking soda- 1/2 tablespoon
  4. Salt- as per taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice and urad dal in water for 5-6 hours.
  2. After this time, grind them together to form a smooth batter. It should neither be too thick nor too runny. Let it ferment for 12-14 hours, then add salt and baking soda.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan, add oil and spread it all over. Pour the batter in the centre with a small bowl and spread it with it's base.
  4. When it's cooked, add the filling and roll the dosa.
