Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Noodles 1 packet
  2. Cornflour 5 tbsp
  3. Gajer/Carrot chopped 1/2 cup
  4. Beans chopped 1/2 cup
  5. Capsicum chopped 1/2 cup
  6. Cabbage chopped 1/2 cup
  7. Onion chopped 2 small
  8. Spring onions 3 tbsp
  9. Garlic pods 7-8
  10. Ginger 1/2 tsp
  11. Oil 2 tbsp for the sauce and to fry the noodles
  12. Soya sauce 1 tsp
  13. Chilli sauce 1 tsp
  14. Tomato sauce 2 tbsp
  15. Vinegar 2 tbsp
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  18. Water as needed


  1. Boil the noodles. Once boiled, drain the extra water, sprinkle 4 tbsp of cornflour over them and keep it aside for 10 mins.
  2. Heat oil and deep fry the noodles till they become crisp. The noodles are ready.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add in the chopped garlic and ginger, saute it well together. Then add in the onion and saute it.
  4. Next add in the carrot, capsicum, beans and saute. Then add in the cabbage and once again saute for a while.
  5. Now add in salt and black pepper, then add in the soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar as well.
  6. Pour in 2 cups of water and cook for a few minutes.
  7. Make the cornflour slurry by dissolving 1 tbsp in 1/2 cup of water. Then pour this slurry into the vegetables and let it cook.
  8. After 2-3 minutes, add in the spring onions and turn off the gas.
  9. Place the noodles in a plate, pour the sauce over it and serve.
