Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Carrot 1 number
  2. Beans 6 numbers
  3. Cabbage 1/4 of a small piece
  4. Onion 2 small
  5. Capsicum 1 small
  6. Spring onion 1 small bunch
  7. Shredded Paneer 4 tbsp
  8. Ginger 1 inch
  9. Garlic 6 cloves
  10. Chillies 2 numbers
  11. Corn flour 6 tbsp
  12. All purpose flour 4 tbsp
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. White pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  15. Sugar 1/8 tsp
  16. Schezwan sauce 1 tsp
  17. Soy Sauce 2 tsp
  18. Vinegar 2 drops


  1. Roughly chop all the vegetables.
  2. Add in all the vegetables along with 3 cloves of garlic, 1/2 inch ginger, chillies to a mixer jar and grind till the vegetables form a coarse mixture.
  3. Add in the salt, pepper powder, corn flour, all purpose flour and crumbled paneer. Mix it well and make small balls from this mixture.
  4. Shallow fry these balls in a paddu/ appe pan which is greased. Once done remove from the pan.
  5. For the sauce, heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Fry in the chopped 3 cloves of garlic, chopped ginger and chopped chillies.
  6. Add in the onion, capsicum and fry, then add in the salt, pepper, sugar and sauces, mix it well together.
  7. Pour in about 1/2 cup of water and bring it to a boil.
  8. In a bowl, mix in 1 tsp of corn flour with 6 tbsp of water to form a slurry. Add this slurry into the boiling mixture.
  9. Allow the sauce mixture to thicken, once done add in the chopped spring onion.
  10. Finally add in the manchurian balls.
  11. Serve them hot with noodles or rice.
