Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Fried Rice

  • rice 1 cup
  • Veggies of your choice 2 and 1/2 cup diced bell pepper, carrot, cabbage, spring onions and beans
  • ginger 1 inch finely chopped
  • garlic 6-8 cloves finely chopped
  • olive oil 4 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • vinegar 1 tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Black pepper powder a pinch

How to make Fried Rice

  1. Boil soaked rice with a little oil and salt. Strain the rice and keep aside.
  2. In a wok, heat oil and add in the ginger and garlic. Saute and add in the chopped onions, saute this for a minute on a high flame.
  3. Add in all the veggies, then stir and add in the soya sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar and salt.
  4. Saute for a minute and add in the boiled rice, carefully mix it well. Then remove it from the heat.
  5. Garnish with green onions and serve it hot.

My Tip:

Don't overcook the rice. Add a little less salt as we are adding soya sauce and vinegar too.
