ABOUT Honey Chilli Fish RECIPE

A very simple dish but it is surely going to impress your guests.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Fish (bite sized pieces)- 250 gms
  2. Egg- 1
  3. Corn flour- 2 tsp
  4. Pepper- 1/2 tsp
  5. Salt- as required
  6. Soya sauce-1 tsp
  7. Oil as required
  8. Chilli sauce- 2 tsp
  9. Finely chopped garlic- 1 tsp
  10. Honey- 2 tsp
  11. Red chilli powder-1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash the fish with clean water and pat them dry.
  2. In a bowl, add in the egg, corn flour, pepper, salt, soya sauce and mix it well. Add in the fish chunks and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan to deep fry the fish pieces. Add a few of them at a time and remove it once they are golden in colour.
  4. In a pan, add 2 tsp of oil to heat, then add in the finely chopped garlic, chilli sauce, soya sauce, chilli powder and little water. Add in the honey finally and toss in the fried fish pieces.
  5. Garnish with finely chopped spring onions or green chillies.
