ABOUT Beetroot and Apple Popsicles | Low Calorie Snacks Recipe RECIPE

Beetroot is rich in Iron.. If taken in any form, it improves the Hemoglobin count.. At the same time, people who have more "Pitham" should not have it very often.. This Beetroot Popsicle is majorly made with Apple and a concoction of Beetroot is added for improving the nutritional value..

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Beetroot - ½ small, cubed/diced
  2. Apple - 1 medium, cubed
  3. Raw Sugar - 2 Teaspoons
  4. Milk - ½ cup
  5. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take beetroot cubes in a blender and puree it adding ¼ cup of water..
  2. Strain the puree and take it in a cup..
  3. Now, take apple cubes in a blender, add some sugar, vanilla essence and milk.. Puree this mixture..
  4. Add beetroot juice and give on last pulse..
  5. Take a popsicle tray and fill it with the puree.. Keep it in freezer for 2-3 hours..
  6. Now, immerse the mould in slight hot water and take out the popsicles..
