ABOUT Amla Pickle RECIPE

The winters kick-start the season of gooseberry popularly known as "Amla". Amla provides energy and warmth to the body.:muscle::muscle: They are good source of essential nutrients and vitamin-C. They are good to eat during winters to boost the immune system and are proven to reduce blood sugar and cholesterol.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 15-20 amlas
  2. 1 tsp methi daana
  3. 1/2 tsp hing
  4. 1 tsp Salt
  5. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1/4 tsp haldi
  7. 1 tsp oil

Instructions

  1. Wash 15-20 amlas.
  2. Boil them for around 10 minutes.
  3. In a wok, heat oil.
  4. Add methi Dana. Let it splutter.
  5. Add amlas and other masalas mentioned in ingredients list.
  6. Saute for around 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve along with dinner.
