Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice : 1 and half cup of boiled rice
  2. Coconut : 1/2 cup grated coconut
  3. Coconut oil 2 tablespoon for a good aroma for the rice. You can use any oil .
  4. Red chillies - 1
  5. Cashew nuts roasted : 8 nos.
  6. Aesofotida : a pinch
  7. Mustard (small one ) :1/2 tsp
  8. Curry leaves : few
  9. Channa daal : 1/2 tbsp
  10. Salt : as required.
  11. Papad : either fried with oil or without oil.( broken into small pieces ) - For kids

Instructions

  1. Heat coconut oil in a kadai , add mustard, curry leaves , red chilli, aesofotida powder, channa daal , cashew nuts and fry it.
  2. Add grated coconut and when it comes golden brown , add salt and broken papad (optional) and off the stove.
  3. Add the boiled rice and stir it . close the lid of the kadai and leave it for 10 mints.
  4. Serve with by adding a Teaspoon of coconut oil .
