This is a very healthy and delicious soup. Very easy to make also.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. almonds - 25, blanched
  2. potato 1 small (chop into small pieces)
  3. radish 1(chop into small pieces)
  4. Green chilli 1
  5. Milk 1 1/2 cup
  6. butter 1Tbsp
  7. sugar 1tsp
  8. salt
  9. Corn flour 1 1/2 tsp
  10. pepper powder 1/4tsp


  1. Grind half of the almonds to a smooth paste, adding some milk or water.
  2. The other half, chop into small pieces & fry in ghee or butter.keep aside.
  3. Take a pressure cooker, add butter. Add chopped potato and radish and one green chilli. fry for 2 minutes. Add some water & some milk.
  4. Close lid. Cook till one whistle. When steam is gone, take it out and strain.
  5. Remove chilli and put the vegetable pieces in a blender. blend well and strain well, sqeezing all liquids.
  6. Again pour the mixture back to cooker and boil. Add sugar, salt, ground almond, milk and enough water. Boil for sometime.
  7. You can serve at this stage if you like light soup.
  8. To make it thick, add cornflour diluted in some water. Keep on stove for a few more minutes. Remove, put pepper powder. Adjust seasoning. Put the chopped and fried almonds in it.stir well. Serve hot.
