Corn and Pea Pulao

Ingredients to make Corn and Pea Pulao

  • Basmati rice 250gram
  • Green peas frozen or fresh 1 cup
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1 Tbsp
  • cloves 4
  • Black cardamom 2 no
  • cumin 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped green chili 1 tsp
  • Fried cottage cheese 2 tbsp
  • corn kennels 1/2 cup
  • Ghee/clarified butter 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

How to make Corn and Pea Pulao

  1. Wash and soak the rice for 1/2 an hour. Heat the ghee in a heavy bottom pan, add cumin, and all whole spices and crackle them.
  2. now add peas, corn, paneer, salt and black pepper powder, stir for 2 minutes, Add 1 glass of water and after one boil, turn the heat to low. cover and cook till done.
  3. Serve hot with raita.

My Tip:

You can also sprinkle some fried onions and green chilli.
