Soya Matar Pulao

Ingredients to make Soya Matar Pulao

  • rice 1cup
  • onions 2
  • Tomato1
  • Soya chunks 12-15
  • Green peas 1/3cups
  • fenugreek leaves 1/4cup
  • green chillies 2
  • Spring garlic 2tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • Garam masala1/2tsp
  • water 3cups
  • oil 2tbsp

How to make Soya Matar Pulao

  1. Wash rice and soak for 15 minutes
  2. Soak soya chunks in water for 10 minutes
  3. Take a deep pan add oil add sliced onions to it
  4. Cook onions to a brown colour add tomatoes, fenugreek leaves, spring garlic, green chilli, sal,t red chilli powder and garm masala
  5. Add soya chunks and matar cook for few minutes
  6. Add rice mix well
  7. Add water and let it cook on high flame
  8. As water fully gets absorbed, lower the flame and cover the pan and cook for for 3-4 minutes.
  9. Turn off gas and serve hot pulao with chilled raita.

My Tip:

Add some lemon juice over it to enhance taste. Sometimes I add some pavbhaji masala to it
