ABOUT Chana Masala RECIPE

Black gram is full of the goodness of protein and I I use in my daily food. It can be made in many ways and is loved by younger ones to oder ones in their lunch box

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Black gram 2 cup( soaked before 5 hours)
  2. Onion medium size 4
  3. Green chillies 1 tsp
  4. garlic paste 1 tsp
  5. Potato medium size 2
  6. Mix Sabji masala 1 tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  8. Mustard Oil 2 tbsp
  9. Cumin seed 1/2 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Water 100 ml

Instructions

  1. Add oil in the pressure cooker and heat it.
  2. Add cumin seed when it crackling add ,chilli paste and garlic paste and saute for few seconds.
  3. Now add onion paste, sabji masala,turmeric powder and salt and fry it
  4. After few minutes add black gram,chopped potatoes and water and cook for few minute by covering it.
  5. Now close the cooker and turn off the flame after 2 whistles.
  6. Pack in the lunch box with puri or parantha
