Carrot Pakore

Ingredients to make Carrot Pakore

  • carrot (large) 1
  • Rice flour 1/4 Cup
  • besan 3/4 cup
  • onion (medium) 1
  • Green chilli 2
  • coriander (chopped) 3 tbsp
  • Lal mirch 1 tsp
  • haldi 1/4 tsp
  • hing 1 pinch
  • Cooking soda 1 pinch
  • salt to taste
  • water as needed
  • oil to fry

How to make Carrot Pakore

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl
  2. Mix well with hand. Add water tbsp by tbsp till the mixture is just wet and you can form balls with it
  3. Fry this balls on medium heat in oil till golden brown
  4. Serve with chutney, ketchup, fried chillies, onions or dips of choice

My Tip:

Make sure the proportion of water is not too little or they will be very hard as rice flour will absorb water. You could also add some cheese for kids.
