Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 bowl cooked Basmati rice
  2. Chopped Vegatables (Onion, Carrot, French Beans, Green Peas, Potatoes,Cauliflower)
  3. One Onion (Medium Size)
  4. 3-4 Green Chilli (chopped)
  5. 5-6 Curry Leaves (Chopped)
  6. 1/2 Spoon each mustard and cumin Seed
  7. 1/2 Spoon of Turmeric Powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Ghee/Oil (for fry)
  10. 1/2 spoon of sugar (to taste)
  11. 1/2 spoon lemon juice
  12. Coriander Leaves for garnishing (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in the kadhi/pan. Add jeera, mustard seed and wait till they crackle, then saute well
  2. Add chopped chilli, curry leaves, onion, and fry it for a few minutes.
  3. Add all chopped vegetables, turmeric powder, and salt. Stir till it is cooked.
  4. Add rice and lemon juice and mix them for a few minutes.
  5. Turn off the flame. Garnish the rice. And let it cool for a while.
  6. Pack in the lunchbox.
