Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup Basmati Rice
  2. 250 gm chicken
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1/2 tsp haldi
  5. Paste of 3 dried red chillies
  6. 2 onions chopped
  7. 3Tbsp oil
  8. 12-14 flakes garlic
  9. 2 tsp chopped ginger
  10. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  11. 2 tsp fennel (saunf)
  12. 1 tsp Salt
  13. 1" stick cinnamon
  14. Seeds of 2 moti elaichi
  15. 3 cloves
  16. 8 peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Soak rice in 2 cups water for 30 minutes.
  2. For the paste grind all ingredients together, using some water.
  3. Mix chicken and the prepared paste in a big micro proof dish.
  4. Cover and microwave for 5 minutes.
  5. Add rice along with the water.
  6. Add salt and haldi.
  7. Cover and microwave for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Separate the grains with a fork.
  9. Serve after 5 minutes.
