ABOUT Gobi Paratha RECIPE

The easiest way to make yummy gobi paratha. One of my winter favourites.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cauliflower 1 medium size
  2. Green Chillies 2/3
  3. Coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1 / 2 tsp
  6. salt as per taste
  7. oil to fry
  8. 2 cups whole wheat flour.
  9. Water for making the dough.

Instructions

  1. First make a soft dough and keep aside.
  2. Grate the cauliflower finely add to it the chopped green chillies and coriander leaves.
  3. Add the cumin seeds, red chilli powder and salt.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Now make a ball from the dough and flatten a little.
  6. Take a small portion from the cauliflower mixture and put on the flattened dough and seal well.
  7. Roll out like a roti add flour dust to avoid sticking.
  8. Heat a girdle and put the roti drizzle oil from sides and cook both sides on low flame.
  9. Serve hot with a chutney or sauce of your choice.

You can add dry roasted masalas. Dry roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds, Ajwain, dry red chillies,and Garammasala.. Grind them together and use it in the mixture. It will taste good.. It would be better if you dry roast the cauliflower mixture also.
