Badam Halwa

Ingredients to make Badam Halwa

  • almonds 1 cup
  • Suji 2 tbsp
  • sugar 1 cup
  • ghee 3/4 cup
  • 2 Tsp cardamom powder
  • Few safron threads

How to make Badam Halwa

  1. Heat ghee in a pan Add suji and roast till colour changes and a nice aroma comes
  2. Grind almonds in a mixer
  3. When suji is roasted properly add badam powder. Mix well and roast till aroma comes and ghee separates. Add 3.5 cups water sugar and cardamom powder and Kesar strands
  4. Mix well and cook for another five minutes.
  5. Garnish with badam and serve.
