ABOUT Black Grape Milkshake (Using Almond Milk) RECIPE

The other day I posted the recipe for making Almond Milk at home which gives you tons of benefits and is an excellent substitute for diary milk for the lactose intolerant.So here I present a delicious Milkshake that can be made with Black Grapes which are currently in season!Its a great tasting drink and an option for body builders who love to have proteins and nut shakes after workout!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 100 gms black grapes (around 1/2 cup)
  2. 1 1/2 cups Almond Milk (see recipe on top)
  3. 2 tbsp Sugar
  4. 3 tbsp Oats (instant/rolled/steel cut)
  5. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  6. 2 - 3 dried black raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Powder/dry grind the oats coarsely and keep aside.Take the grapes,sugar and 3 - 4 tbsp water in a saucepan and stew the grapes till tender.Cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender add all the other ingredients (except the black raisins) and the stewed fruit and blend till thick.
  3. Pour into serving glasses and drop 2 - 3 black raisins into the Milkshake.
  4. Serve chilled or cold.
