It is a famous bengali dessert , it is made on every special occasion and on festivals . Normally it is made with either coconut and jaggery or, mawa and jaggery , but I have combined both mawa , coconut and jaggery , and it turned out very tasty.
Make jaggery syrup first , boil water , add jaggery
Now strain it , no impurities should be there
Now heat a nonstick pan , add coconut and jaggery syrup
Stir continuously for 10 -12 mins
Add mawa
Add cardamom powder
The mixture should be moist but not dry. Switch off the gas
After 5-6 mins make oblong shapes like this
Now make the batter , mix rice flour , suji and flour , water and milk without any lumps , keep aside for 30 mins
Heat a nonstick pan , add little oil or ghee , spread it with the help of spoon
Put 3 tbsp of batter
Spread it with spatula
Add stuffing
Fold it immediately with spatula or spoon
Continue to follow the steps until the batter is over
Serve hot or cold
Garnish with condensed milk
