This spice powder is definitely handy,healthy and versatile, you can spice up your curries,your leftover idlies or dosas with this flaxseed paruppu podi.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/4 cup Toor dal
  2. 1/4cup Yellow moongdal
  3. 3tbsp Channadal
  4. 1/4cup Flaxseeds
  5. 3 dry red chillies
  6. 1tsp black peppercorns
  7. 1tsp Cumin seeds
  8. 3 GARLIC CLOVES
  9. Salt

Instructions

  1. Dry roast evenly the dals together until a nice aroma comes out..
  2. Now dry roast the flax seeds,dry red chillies,peppercorns,cumin seeds and keep aside until they gets cool completely.
  3. Grind everything with salt as coarse powder, finally add the garlic cloves and grind it well.. Conserve in an air tightened box..
