Ingredients to make Ilae Kolukattai

  • Raw rice -500 g
  • Naattu sakarai-150 gm
  • coconut -1/2
  • green gram-100 gm
  • Poovarasu leaf-10 nos

How to make Ilae Kolukattai

  1. Soak rice for half an hour and grind and make paste
  2. Grate coconut
  3. Roast the green gram and grind it as powder in a mixture
  4. Grate the jaggery
  5. Wash the poovarasu leaf and spread the paste on it and spread one spoon of grated coconut , Jaggery, gram power each on it.
  6. close the leaf and boil it in idly pot.
  7. Serve.
