ABOUT Mushroom Masala RECIPE

Mushroom masala is a very tasty dish which goes well with jeera rice or any rice item.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mushrooms-250gm
  2. Onion-2 finely chopped
  3. Chilly -1slited
  4. Tomato-3medium
  5. Ginger garlic paste -1spoon
  6. Cloves-4
  7. Cinnamon -1/2 inch
  8. Shahi jeera-1spoon
  9. Kasuri methi-1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander leaves- handful
  11. Fresh cream -3tbsp
  12. Salt- as required
  13. Red chilli powder- 2tbsp
  14. Coriander powder1spoon
  15. Jeera powder -1spoon

Instructions

  1. Take a vessel and wash mushrooms in running water and wipe dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. Boil tomatoes and take out the peel and puree it
  3. Take a pan,put oil and heat it when oil is hot add whole gram masala,shahi jeera,and add onions,green chilly and stir it when onions are translucent add ginger garlic paste and fry it till raw smell goes .
  4. Now add tomato puree and cook it well then add salt ,chilli powder,coriander powder, jeera poerwd and mix it well and cook it it leaves oil
  5. Then add mushrooms and mix well. Add some water and cover it and cook until mushroom turns soft. It takes 8 to10 minutes .
  6. Then remove the lid and mix it well and add kasuri methi-and fresh cream and stir well keep for 5 minutes and remove from flame and add coriander leaves- and serve hot.
