ABOUT Adrak Ki Chutney RECIPE

It's my mum's recipe. So very close to my heart. Very easy as needs four ingredients only. At the same time tasty too. Good to eat in winters/ cold weather and goes well with every thing be it roti, paratha, dosa or as a spread on the bread.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ginger 200 gms
  2. Ghee 3 tbsp
  3. Tomatoes 4 medium size
  4. Salt to taste


  1. Grind ginger into a smooth paste
  2. Grind tomatoes and make puree
  3. In a pan take ghee , when heated add ginger and saute
  4. Fry until ghee comes out on sides.
  5. Take it out from pan and keep.aside.
  6. In the same pan pour tomatoes puree and cook until liquid evaporates and becomes thick paste.
  7. Now add ginger in tomato paste.
  8. Add salt, and keep the pan pan covered for some time.
  9. Close the gas when u see ghee coming out on the sides of the pan.
  10. You can make it once and Store in the fridge. It can be stored for about week or 10 days as well.
  11. Enjoy with paratha, roti dosa or on bread.
