Ingredients to make Srivilliputhur Palkova

  • Milk: 8 cups
  • sugar: 1 cup

How to make Srivilliputhur Palkova

  1. Buy the milk to a boil
  2. Now, decrease the fire and simmer for 1 hour stirring every 10 minutes. Then, use a flat splatula to stir and scrap the sides of the pan. Please note that the milk does not get burnt at the bottom of the pan
  3. After that, the color of the milk changes in to ivory color and starts to solidify.
  4. Once it starts solidifying, add sugar and stir instantly otherwise the milk will get burnt
  5. Then, keep on stirring until the milk solidifies and starts leaving the sides of the pan
  6. Packed them in butter paper. I got only 4 packets with 8 cups of milk! Now you can enjoy......!

My Tip:

Buy very thin milk
