Gud ki Mitthi

Ingredients to make Gud ki Mitthi

  • Raw mango - 1 kg
  • jaggery - 1 kg
  • Pachforan (A mixture of Jeera, Methi, Mangrail, Sauf, mustard) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green/red chilly - 4
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • oil - 1 tablespoon

How to make Gud ki Mitthi

  1. Wash raw mango and peel it well. Cut it into sufficiently larger pieces.
  2. Warm a little oil in Kadhai. Add pachforan and chilly in it. Add pieces of raw mango and salt in it and stir it well at medium heat for 5 minutes.
  3. Add jaggery and 1/2 glass of water in Kadhai, and stir it well for next 25 minutes.
  4. Turn off the gas and and pack the entire mixture in air tight container.

My Tip:

Use dry spoon to serve this dish. This way it can be used for months.
