ABOUT Channa Masala RECIPE

It's very delicious, made with lots of Indian spices which are available in common kitchen.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Boiled white chick pea 1/2 kg
  2. onions 2 medium
  3. tomatoes 4 medium
  4. garlic 7-8 cloves
  5. green chillies 2
  6. green coriander 2 tbsp
  7. Dry spices - salt to taste
  8. cumin seeds 1 tsp
  9. bay leaves 1-2
  10. red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  11. dry pomegranate powder 1 tbsp
  12. garam masala 1-1/2 tsp
  13. kasoori methi 1 tsp
  14. dry mango powder 1 tsp
  15. black salt 1 tsp
  16. oil for tadka

Instructions

  1. Add oil in kadhai, put bay leaves , cumin seeds saute it for a while, grind onions, tomatoes , green chilies, garlic, coriander leaves,
  2. Stir well and add dry masala one by one, saute well until oil leaves side.
  3. Add boiled chick pea with water , cook it for 10 - 15 minutes for a thick consistency. Garnish with ginger Jullien, coriander leaves and green chillies.
