Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Beans - 1/2 kg (chopped small)
  2. Turmeric powder-1 pinch
  3. Channa dhal -1/2 glass
  4. Toor dhal -1/2 glass
  5. Asafoetida-1 pinch
  6. Red chilli- 5
  7. Oil-2 tablespoon
  8. Mustard-1 spoon
  9. Urad dhal -1 spoon
  10. Curry leaves-1 cup
  11. Salt :as required
  12. Salt as required

Instructions

  1. Cut beans in to small pieces.Add turmeric powder and salt
  2. Let it boil till it becomes tender
  3. Soak channa dhal and toor dhal about 4-5 hours
  4. Once it is done grind soaked dhal, asafoetida,red chilli and salt to a paste.
  5. Paste should not be too soft or hard make sure it should be medium.
  6. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and wait till it splutters.
  7. Add urid dhal and curry leaves fry for sometime.
  8. Add grounded paste and fry well about 10 mins in a medium flame.
  9. Once the wet consistency dried completely add boiled beans and mix well
  10. Fry till paste coats well with beans
  11. Once it is done transfer to a bowl.
  12. This goes well with morekuzhambu
