Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Papaya - 1 small
  2. Sugar - 2 cups
  3. Milk - 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder -2spoons
  5. Cashews - roasted 1/2 cup
  6. Ghee -as required

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel papaya and slice it . Grate it and keep aside .
  2. Take a pan or a thick bottom vessel add milk and boil grated papaya till it becomes soft.
  3. once the milk dries completely add sugar and keep stirring on medium flame.
  4. Add little ghee and keep stirring.
  5. Once it has come to halwa consistency add cardamom powder stir well and transfer to a bowl .
  6. For garnishing add roasted cashews and kismiss.
