Cauliflower Potato Masala

Ingredients to make Cauliflower Potato Masala

  • potato -1/2 kg
  • cauliflower -1 small
  • onion -1 big (chopped)
  • tomatoes -1 big ( chopped)
  • ginger & garlic paste -2 spoons
  • curry leaves -1/2 cup
  • coriander leaves- 1/2 cup chopped
  • chilli powder-1 spoon
  • coriander powder-2 spoon
  • coriander powder- 2 spoon
  • salt as required
  • saunf -1 spoon
  • oil - for frying

How to make Cauliflower Potato Masala

  1. Wash potato well,peel it and cut it medium cube size
  2. Wash cauliflower well and cut it
  3. Heat oil in a flat vessel fry saunf ,ginger &garlic paste, curry leaves and fry till raw smell comes out.
  4. Add onion and fry till brown.
  5. Add tomatoes and fry till it becomes tender.
  6. Add all Masala like chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and fry for 2 minutes in a low flame.
  7. Add potatoes and cauliflower fry till the masala coats well with vegetables.
  8. Now add water and salt as required.Cover and cook till the vegetables become soft .
  9. Once the water drains completely add oil little by little and fry till potatoes become golden brown.
  10. Once it is done transfer to serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves
  11. If want add green peas or kidney beans to make this dish more colourful and yum

My Tip:

Add sprouts to make this dish healthy
