Paneer Pulao

Ingredients to make Paneer Pulao

  • onion - 1 big sliced
  • ginger & garlic paste - 2 spoons
  • Green chilli - 1 no
  • mint leaves - 1 cup
  • cinnamon,cardamom,bay leaf - 1 no each
  • Green peas - 1 cup
  • paneer - 200gms
  • ghee - 2 spoon
  • oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Basmati rice - 1 glass
  • lemon juice - 1 spoon
  • salt

How to make Paneer Pulao

  1. Heat oil & ghee in a cooker fry cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf.
  2. Add ginger and garlic paste and Saute till raw smell goes away
  3. Fry onions till brown then add green chilli.
  4. Add green peas and mint leaves and fry for a second .Add two glass water ,lemon juice ,salt and basmati rice
  5. Cook for one whistle and immediately release the steam.
  6. Garnish with pan fried paneer.
  7. This goes well with raita

My Tip:

Add roasted dry grapes and cashews
