Prawns Koliwada

Ingredients to make Prawns Koliwada

  • 20 to 25 pieces prawns peel n wash
  • 1/2 cup semolina
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 lemon Juice
  • oil for deep fry
  • Chat masala for sprinkle

How to make Prawns Koliwada

  1. Make a thick batter with the roasted cumin powder, chilli powder, salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, yogurt and two tablespoons of water (required). Marinate the prawns in the batter for half an hour
  2. Add semolina and mix well
  3. Heat the oil in a kadai and deep-fry the prawns till crisp on the outside. Drain on absorbent paper
  4. Serve hot,sprinkle chat masala and lemon juice

My Tip:

You can use gram flour instead of semolina
