Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Red Amaranthus 500gm
  2. dried lentil dumplings 250gms
  3. Rice flour
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Ginger chopped 1inch stick
  6. Boiled potato 1n1/2
  7. Red chilly power 1tsp
  8. Green chilly paste 1tbsp
  9. Suji or semolina 50gms
  10. poppy seeds 25gms
  11. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop red Amaranthus finely
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add red chilly for tempering. Now add ginger and saute for sometime
  3. Add the chopped Amaranthus and add a little salt to it. Cook untill the leaves are nicely cooked
  4. Now add the poppy seeds and previously fried lentil dumplings,cook for some more time
  5. Now add the rice flour for the binding and also the mashed potato. Turn off the gas and allow the mixture to cool down.
  6. Now make small tikkis out of this mixture. Roll on Suji/semolina and shallow fry the tikkis. Ready to be served.
