ABOUT Paneer Jamun RECIPE

Paneer jamuns are cottage cheese and milk powder balls which are deep fried and dipped into sugar syrup

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Crumbled homemade Paneer – 1 Cup
  2. All purpose flour – 1 tbsp
  3. Milk Powder – 2 tbsp
  4. Baking Powder – ¼ tsp
  5. Oil – to deep fry
  6. Sugar – 2 Cup
  7. Green Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add paneer, all purpose flour, baking powder and milk powder. Knead it until you are able to form a smooth dough
  2. Divide the dough into small equal portions and shape them into balls.
  3. Make one thread sugar syrup by adding 1 ½ cups of water and green cardamom powder
  4. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the balls on low heat until they are golden in colour.
  5. Drain and soak into the sugar syrup for 20-30 mins. Serve Hot.
