Normally we know the bread pakoda is stuffed with potato. It is a famous street food.I have given a new twist by using paneer and spinach in stuffing

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread slices 8
  2. besan 1 cup
  3. paneer crushed 2 tbsp
  4. spinach 1/2 cup finely chopped
  5. coriander 1 tbsp finely chopped
  6. red chilli 1/2 tsp
  7. turmeric 1/2 tsp
  8. salt to taste
  9. ajwain crushed 1/2 tsp
  10. tomato Sauce 2 tbsp
  11. mint chutney 2 tbsp
  12. oil 3 tbsp


  1. Keep aside bread, tomato ketchup,mint chutney,and oil
  2. Take a bowl mix all the other ingredients well, add water to get a thick batter
  3. The batter should not be very thick nor runny
  4. Now take bread slices, on one side spread tomato ketchup and another side mint chutney.repeat the same with other slices.
  5. Then coat the bread evenly both side with spinach paneer pakora mixture .
  6. Take a non-stick pan and shallow fry the pakora with the 1 tbsp spoon of oil on both sides till you get golden crispy pakora
  7. serve it with tomato ketchup and mint chutney. Enjoy.
