Chilli Prawns

Ingredients to make Chilli Prawns

  • Washed and deveined prawns 12
  • spring onion 2
  • Red bell paper cubed 1
  • Corn flour 4 tbsp
  • Refined flour 4 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 3 tsp
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • vinegar 1 tsp
  • chilli sauce 2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Green chilli chopped 1
  • water 1/2 cup
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Chopped garlic pods 6

How to make Chilli Prawns

  1. Marinate prawns with 3 tbsp flour , 3 tbsp corn flour , salt , chilli powder 1/2 tsp and garlic ginger paste 1 tsp , keep aside for 5-7 mins
  2. Shallow fry them in batches until brown
  3. Now cut spring onions , separate green and white parts
  4. Chop the green part , cut white parts in long thick pieces
  5. Heat oil in a kadai , add green parts of spring onion ,chopped garlic , white parts of spring onion ,capsicum , chilli sauce , pepper powder , chilli powder , fry in high heat
  6. Add soy sauce , vinegar
  7. Now add fried prawns
  8. Mix 1 tbsp corn flour , 1 tbsp flour with little water
  9. Add this mixture to the kadai
  10. Cook another 2-3 mins , add salt
  11. Switch off gas
  12. Serve hot with Vegetable fried rice
