ABOUT Chilli Prawns RECIPE

It can be served as a side dish or as a starter , Instead of deep frying I have used shallow frying method . A very easy and mouth watering dish !

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Washed and deveined prawns 12
  2. Spring onion 2
  3. Red bell paper cubed 1
  4. Corn flour 4 tbsp
  5. Refined flour 4 tbsp
  6. Soy sauce 3 tsp
  7. Oil 3 tbsp
  8. Vinegar 1 tsp
  9. Chilli sauce 2 tsp
  10. Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  11. chilli powder 1 tsp
  12. Green Chilli chopped 1
  13. Water 1/2 cup
  14. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  15. Chopped garlic pods 6

Instructions

  1. Marinate prawns with 3 tbsp flour , 3 tbsp corn flour , salt , chilli powder 1/2 tsp and garlic ginger paste 1 tsp , keep aside for 5-7 mins
  2. Shallow fry them in batches until brown
  3. Now cut spring onions , separate green and white parts
  4. Chop the green part , cut white parts in long thick pieces
  5. Heat oil in a kadai , add green parts of spring onion ,chopped garlic , white parts of spring onion ,capsicum , chilli sauce , pepper powder , chilli powder , fry in high heat
  6. Add soy sauce , vinegar
  7. Now add fried prawns
  8. Mix 1 tbsp corn flour , 1 tbsp flour with little water
  9. Add this mixture to the kadai
  10. Cook another 2-3 mins , add salt
  11. Switch off gas
  12. Serve hot with Vegetable fried rice
