Ingredients to make Mysore Pak

  • 1 cup besan
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 and 1\2 or 2 cups ghee

How to make Mysore Pak

  1. First grease a plate and keep ready.
  2. Then fry besan in 1\2 cup ghee till aroma comes and keep aside. In a kadai take sugar and add water enough to cover the sugar.
  3. Heat until the sugar dissolves completely. then add the fried besan. Stir continuously.
  4. Simultaneously heat remaining portion of ghee in a kadai on low flame. Add little by little to besan and stir continuously.
  5. When it leaves the side of kadai(same as poricha koottu kothikkum padham), Remove from flame and pour into greased plate.
  6. Cut into the desired shape when it is warm. Serve hot or cold. It will melt in your mouth.
