ABOUT Pineapple Stir Fry RECIPE

This stir fry can also be had as an accompaniment to ghee rice.The spices from the tempering blended very well with the sweetness from pineapple.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Pineapple(ripe or semi-ripe) - 1
  2. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  3. Curry leaves - 2 spring
  4. Red Chillies - 2
  5. Salt as needed
  6. Oil - 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Skin the pineapple and chop it into bit sized pieces.
  2. Sprinkle on some salt and keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and when the oil is hot add the mustard seeds.
  4. Once it stops spluttering,add curry leaves and red chilly.Red chilli flakes can also be used.But adjust the quantity to your spice tolerance level.
  5. Add in the chopped pineapple and stir fry for two minutes.
  6. Serve with plain white rice or ghee rice.
