ABOUT Banana fried RECIPE

Konkani breakfast favourite ripe banana fried in pure ghee and sugar with cardomom . Enjoy with toasted bread or roti or Pav. It is a yumm preparation. I garnished with almond to give it a garnish.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 2 ripe bananas
  2. 1 tblspn Ghee (Gowardhan )
  3. 2 tspn sugar
  4. 1/2 tspn crushed cardamom seeds
  5. A spoon of chopped almonds to garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chop bananas into medium thin slices.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and add the sugar to this.
  3. Add cardamom seeds if using the same.
  4. Add cut bananas into this and start frying on slow flame.
  5. The banana starts caramelising and fries well in ghee and sugar.
  6. This is now ready to eat and enjoy.
  7. Garnish and serve it.
