ABOUT Potato Cheese Corn Balls RECIPE

A unique and healthy snack . Potato filled with mozzarella which melts when fried . Crispy and cheesy balls, a delightful snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2-3 boiled potatoes
  2. Half a cup of corn
  3. Coriander leaves or parsley 1/4 th cup
  4. 2-3 green chillies or chilli flakes
  5. 1 tsp garam masala
  6. 1 tsp cummin powder
  7. A cup of mozzarella
  8. 1 tsp of all spice or curry powder
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 1 tsp black pepper
  11. Bread crumbs 1 cup
  12. 2 Beaten eggs

Instructions

  1. Boil and mash the potatoes . Add a little salt and black pepper to season them .
  2. Mix all the other ingredients which will become the filling.
  3. Take a small amount of mashed potato . Flatten it out on your palm .
  4. Place a tsp of the filling onto the center .
  5. Take another flat disc of mashed potato and layer it on top of the already made layer .
  6. Carefully seal the edges . With the help of your hands , shape them into balls .
  7. Dip each ball into the beaten eggs and then coat them into the bread crumbs .
  8. In oil which is heated on medium flame , deep fry your balls for only a min or till they turn slightly brown.
  9. Serve them hot with ketchup or chutneys of your choice .
