This is hands down my childhood sweetheart . Whether it be my generation or the present , people's love for this has remained eternal .

I use Jaggery instead of sugar
In a non stick pan , add the sugar along with a tsp of ghee and heat it on low flame by continuosly stirring it . This is a must .
It is a little tedious process , but the end result is worth it .
Once the sugar starts changing the colour and gets mixed well , add the peanuts immediately .
Mix it well .
Remove it on a well greased steel plate or your kitchen counter .
With the help of a greased rolling pin , flatten it up a bit so that it is even .
While it is still warm , make the cuts as desired .
Let it cool completely before digging in .
