Corn and Meethi Kebabs

ABOUT Corn and Meethi Kebabs RECIPE

These kebabs are very simple to make and they taste absolutely fantastic. The strong flavour of meethi blends in beautifully with the sweetness of sweet corn.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled sweet corn kernels: 1 cup
  2. Mint and coriander leaves: 2 tbsps each, chopped
  3. Meethi leaves: 1/2 cup (retain the stems too)
  4. Green Chillies: 2
  5. Onion: 1 small size, finely chopped
  6. Boiled potatoes: 2 medium size, properly mashed
  7. Ginger: 1 tbsp, grated
  8. Garlic: 5 cloves, grated
  9. salt to taste
  10. coriander powder: 1 tsp
  11. Red chilli powder: 1 tsp
  12. Amchoor: 1 tsp
  13. Garam masala: a pinch
  14. rice flour: 2 tbsps
  15. Maida: 1 tsp
  16. Oil: for frying


  1. In a blender, add corns, methi, mint and coriander leaves, onion, chillies, ginger and garlic. Coarsely blend it all together.
  2. Take the mixture out of the blender in a bowl. To it add mashed potatoes, flour and all the seasoning. Mix everything well.
  3. Check for seasoning and the give a desired shape.
  4. Now shallow fry these kebabs in hot oil till they are golden brown.
  5. Take it out on an absorbent paper and sprinkle some chat masala.
  6. Serve with onion rings and coriander-yogurt dip.
