Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled whole soya chaap 4 whole
  2. Paneer 1cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  5. Fresh coriander chopped 1tsp
  6. Amchur powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Maida 2-3 spoons
  8. Cornflour 2 spoons
  9. Orange food colour 1 pinch
  10. Ginger- garlic -chili paste 1 spoon
  11. Some water for making batter
  12. Oil for frying


  1. Boil chaap with some salt in cooker for 2-3 whistles. Drain it and squeeze and keep aside.
  2. Make batter. Take a bowl and add maida , cornflour, salt , orange food colour and ginger- garlic- chili paste and some water . Mix all well and make thick batter and keep aside .
  3. Take chaap and cut it from side and keep aside. Take a bowl, add grated paneer, garam masala powder, salt , coriander and mix it well. Take chaap, fill the paneer stuffing in middle and cover it nicely and keep aside.
  4. Take chaap in which we have filled paneer one by one and dip it into maida and cornflour batter and deep fry them first on high flame for few seconds and then on low so that it will cook properly. Now cut it in to two piece or have it like that only. Serve with curd and mint dip or simple green chutney and sauce as per your choice.
